Sophos, IPAT Settle Security Software Patent Dispute

Law360, New York (February 05, 2010, 12:54 PM ET) -- Sophos Inc. has joined a growing list of technology companies that have settled in Information Protection and Authentication of Texas LLC's suit accusing nearly two dozen companies of infringing two patents related to computer security software systems.

IPAT and Sophos, a global information technology security and data protection provider, filed a joint motion to dismiss all the claims between them Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
