Meteora Cuts Deal With 2 More In Data Security Suit

Law360, New York (February 10, 2010, 4:36 PM ET) -- SonicWall Inc. and Nemx Software Corp. have become the latest defendants to resolve Meteora LLC's suit accusing nearly two dozen data security companies — including Symantec Corp., McAfee Inc. and Sophos Inc. — of infringing a patent for word-checking products.

Meteora and SonicWall entered a stipulated motion for dismissal with prejudice Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, while the plaintiff and Nemx requested the dismissal of their dispute in a joint stipulation lodged Monday.
