Law360, New York (February 22, 2010, 3:25 PM ET) -- Patent-holding company Implicit Networks Inc. has accused technology companies Red Hat Inc. and VMWare Inc. of infringing two patents related to applet server software.
Implicit lodged its complaint Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleging that Red Hat and VMWare have infringed and induced others to infringe U.S. Patent Numbers 6,324,685, titled “Applet server that provides applets in various forms,” and 6,976,248, titled “Application server facilitating with client’s computer for applets along with various formats.”
