Waterloo Infringed Keyboard Patent: ITC Judge

Law360, New York (February 24, 2010, 3:47 PM ET) -- A U.S. International Trade Commission judge has issued final initial and recommended determinations finding that CompX International Inc. subsidiary Waterloo Furniture Components Ltd. infringed a keyboard support patent held by Humanscale Corp. in violation of U.S. trade law.

On Tuesday, ITC Chief Administrative Law Judge Paul J. Luckern said Canada-based Waterloo had violated Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 by importing infringing adjustable keyboard support systems and components.
