Dun & Bradstreet Exits API Data Network Patent Suit

Law360, New York (March 18, 2010, 12:33 PM ET) -- Business research firm the Dun & Bradstreet Corp. and subsidiary Hoover's Inc. have become the latest defendants to settle in API Technologies LLC's suit accusing two dozen companies of infringing a data network patent.

Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Tuesday granted a joint motion to dismiss filed by Dun & Bradstreet, Hoover's and API.
