Stragent Targets 2 Chip Cos. Over Data Patents

Law360, New York (March 16, 2010, 12:40 PM ET) -- Texas patent-holding company Stragent LLC has accused semiconductor makers Xelerated AB and Freescale Semiconductor Inc. of infringing two data processing patents.

Stragent LLC filed a pair of lawsuits Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas alleging infringement of a pair of patents that provide methods of processing data in microchips. The dual lawsuits mark the latest in a long line of Stragent actions over technology patents.
