Law360, New York (March 30, 2010, 2:27 PM ET) -- Patent-holding company Parallel Networks LLC has sued Disney Enterprises Inc., Amazon.com Inc., Dell Inc., eBay Inc., JPMorgan Chase & Co., Nike Inc., Ford Motor Co. and others over a patent covering data requests from customers with low-speed Internet connections.
The complaint, filed Monday and amended Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, accuses more than a dozen companies of infringing the patent through their Web sites as they process data submitted by visitors.
