Novartis Sues To Reverse USPTO Judgment

Law360, New York (January 09, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A Novartis AG subsidiary has filed a federal lawsuit against two French research institutions, seeking to overturn an unfavorable judgment in a patent interference proceeding before a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office board.

The lawsuit, filed on Friday by California-based Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics Inc., names the Institut Pasteur and Centre Nationale De La Recherche Scientifique as defendants.
