Law360, New York (April 20, 2010, 4:19 PM ET) -- Compellent Technologies Inc. has become the latest defendant to exit Acacia Research Corp. subsidiary Data Network Storage LLC's suit accusing more than a dozen technology companies of infringing a patent for a data storage management system.
The parties lodged their joint motion for dismissal of their claims and counterclaims with prejudice Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
Each party will bear its own costs and attorneys' fees, according to the motion.
