Law360, New York (April 28, 2010, 3:46 PM ET) -- EBay Inc. and several of its subsidiaries have agreed to settle with TQP Development LLC, which named the online auction site as one of numerous defendants in a wide-ranging patent infringement suit over online encrypted data transmission.
TQP and eBay filed a joint stipulation of dismissal Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, stating that they had resolved the dispute. Judge T. John Ward dismissed the case against eBay on Tuesday.
