SanDisk Sues Kingston, Imation Over Flash Patents

Law360, New York (May 05, 2010, 12:05 PM ET) -- Flash memory powerhouse SanDisk Corp. has accused Kingston Technology Co. Inc. and Imation Corp. of infringing seven patents covering flash drives, memory cards and media players.

The complaint, lodged Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, claims that Kingston and Imation willfully infringe the SanDisk patents by making and selling flash memory products that incorporate the plaintiff's proprietary technology.
