Law360, New York (July 01, 2010, 5:33 PM ET) -- Syngenta Seeds Inc. has agreed to put an end to a suit challenging the validity of Bayer BioScience NV patents for insect-resistant seed traits that are part of licensing negotiations between the two companies.
Judge Ellen Segal Huvelle of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia signed off Tuesday on the companies' stipulation to dismiss the case with prejudice.
The parties did not state whether they had settled the matter, and attorneys for the companies did not immediately respond to requests for comment....
