Law360, New York (October 06, 2010, 2:56 PM ET) -- Toshiba Corp. and Wistron Corp. have settled a dispute over patents for laptop computer technologies, ending a brief battle waged both in a California court and before the U.S. International Trade Commission.
Under the settlement agreement accepted by the ITC on Tuesday, the two companies will get nonexclusive licenses to the patents-in-suit. Wistron will also pay Toshiba an undisclosed amount of money, according to the settlement.
