Law360, New York (October 29, 2010, 11:34 AM ET) -- Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. has reached a preliminary settlement to end a U.S. International Trade Commission investigation into whether the company's flash memory chips infringe patents held by BTG International Inc.
Administrative Law Judge Theodore R. Essex was set to decide the case Thursday, but before he could, BTG and Samsung filed a motion asking him to hold off on his order and give them time to file a settlement agreement.
