Law360, New York (November 19, 2010, 1:22 PM ET) -- Casio America Inc. has agreed to settle an infringement suit brought by patent-holding company Advanced Video Technologies LLC over video technology in the company's still cameras and cellular phones.
Judge Katharine S. Hayden of U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on Thursday said the case has been settled and dismissed it without prejudice, bringing a close to 13 months of litigation. A joint letter from both sets of attorneys informed the judge of the settlement earlier in the week.
