Law360, New York (February 04, 2011, 4:07 PM ET) -- The Lunar New Year is no excuse for Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. to delay discovery in Spansion LLC’s Section 337 fight to protect several flash memory chip patents, an administrative law judge has ruled.
The holiday — which began Feb. 3 and will last through the weekend — should not interfere with an order requiring Samsung to turn over chip samples and other materials by Feb. 7, despite Samsung’s claims to the contrary, Administrative Law Judge Robert Rogers of the U.S. International Trade Commission ruled Thursday....
