Law360, New York (March 10, 2011, 1:32 PM ET) -- Nycomed U.S. Inc. launched a lawsuit Tuesday in New Jersey seeking to head off additional patent infringement claims from fellow drugmaker Graceway Pharmaceuticals LLC and a 3M Co. unit over a generic version of Aldara skin treatment.
Leda Dunn Wettre of Robinson Wettre & Miller LLC lodged Nycomed's suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, seeking a declaratory judgment that a set of 14 patents are invalid and not infringed by Nycomed.
