Law360, New York (March 16, 2011, 7:27 PM ET) -- The Associated Press and retailer Obey Clothing on Wednesday announced a settlement pact that wraps up copyright litigation in New York over “Hope” T-shirts that feature an iconic image of President Barack Obama.
The settlement covered the counterclaims the AP lodged against One 3 Two Inc., which does business as Obey Clothing, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, coming about a month after the court nixed Obey's fair use defense and a week before trial.
