Law360, New York (March 17, 2011, 9:08 PM ET) -- Winston & Strawn LLP on Thursday said it took over Howrey LLP's former Houston office and absorbed more than 40 of the dissolved firm's intellectual property attorneys, while five other firms nabbed Howrey insurance, litigation and antitrust lawyers this week.
Many of the former Howrey IP attorneys will continue to work out of Howrey's former Houston office, according to the firm's announcement.
