Web Co. Expands Mobile IP War With Google, Facebook

Law360, New York (March 17, 2011, 5:34 PM ET) -- Wireless Ink Corp. upped the ante Tuesday in its mobile website patent war against Google Inc. and Facebook Inc., filing a new infringement suit in New York against the Internet giants.

Wireless Ink filed the new suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, also targeting YouTube Inc. and MySpace Inc. The plaintiff filed a similar suit over a related patent more than a year ago, but did not name the latter two companies in that case.
