Law360, New York (April 01, 2011, 7:15 PM ET) -- Eurand Inc. and Anesta AG slapped Anchen Inc. with a patent infringement suit in Delaware on Wednesday over the generic-drug maker's efforts to market a version of the muscle relaxer Amrix.
In a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, Eurand and Anesta claim the submission of an abbreviated new drug application for generic Amrix by Irvine, Calif.-based Anchen and a closely related company, Anchen Pharmaceuticals Inc., infringes two patents.
