Defense Absent As St. Jude Trade Secrets Trial Begins

Law360, New York (April 18, 2011, 10:58 PM ET) -- With the defense chairs empty, an attorney for a division of St. Jude Medical Inc. delivered the sole opening statement Monday in its suit accusing a former employee of stealing medical device trade secrets and taking them to a Chinese competitor.
