Law360, New York (June 15, 2011, 3:16 PM ET) -- Trek 2000 International Ltd. asked the U.S. International Trade Commission on Tuesday to investigate whether several thumb drive manufacturers — including Kingston Technology Co. Inc. — import devices that infringe four of the Singapore-based company's patents.
The company, along with its Trek Technology Pte. Ltd. and S-Com System Pte. Ltd. units, lodged a complaint with the regulator seeking an exclusion order to keep USB portable storage devices made by six rival companies from being imported into the U.S.
