Grooveshark Hit With Another Copyright Suit

Law360, New York (July 18, 2011, 2:48 PM ET) -- The holders of rights for songs by the Carpenters, Kool & the Gang and Grand Funk Railroad on Friday in Tennessee filed the latest copyright infringement suit against the owners of the online music-sharing service Grooveshark.

The plaintiffs, a group of companies including Fields of Autumn Publishing and Hello Darlin' Music, claim that Grooveshark violates copyright law by allowing its paid subscribers to stream music without a license.
