Law360, New York (July 25, 2011, 6:52 PM ET) -- Computer data storage device maker GSI Technology Inc. sued Cypress Semiconductor Corp. in California on Friday, accusing the competitor of conspiring to monopolize the static random access memory device market.
GSI, which itself was sued by Cypress in March for patent infringement, claims that its rival violated a section of the Sherman Act by working behind the scenes with several co-conspirators to block GSI and other competitors from developing the product standards needed for success in the SRAM market.
