Law360, New York (July 03, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Just months after filing suit against its rival, Reebok International Ltd. decided Monday to dismiss, without prejudice, claims of patent infringement brought against Nike Inc.
Reebok, a subsidiary of Germany-based Adidas AG, filed the suit on April 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, claiming that 11 different Nike sneakers marketed under the “Free” product names violate its patent for flexible sole technology. But this week the athletic wear company decided to withdraw its claims.
