Hynix Hit With 2 Patent Suits Over Memory Chips

Law360, New York (November 22, 2011, 5:03 PM ET) -- A pair of patent-licensing companies initiated lawsuits Thursday in California federal court accusing memory chip manufacturer Hynix Semiconductor Inc. of infringing several patents for dynamic random access memory.

Semiconductor Technologies LLC and DRAM Memory Technologies LLC allege that Hynix and two U.S. subsidiaries have violated a total of nine patents covering the manufacture of semiconductor integrated circuit devices, including DRAM chips.
