Mylan, Teva Settle Over Generic Provigil Market Rights

Law360, New York (June 08, 2012, 2:10 PM ET) -- Mylan Inc. has settled its dispute with Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. concerning its suit against the U.S. Food and Drug Administration over allegations that Teva and subsidiary Cephalon Inc. worked to stymie generic competition of the sleep disorder drug Provigil, Mylan said Friday.

Mylan originally sued the FDA on April 5 seeking to derail the marketing exclusivity period the agency awarded to Cephalon based on patent certifications Mylan says are invalid.
