Florida Atlantic Targets Acer, Others In Monitor Patent Suits

Law360, New York (June 29, 2012, 4:54 PM ET) -- Florida Atlantic University's research arm on Friday accused TPV Technology Ltd. of infringing a video converter patent, a day after filing similar suits against Acer Inc. and Asustek Computer Inc.

Florida Atlantic University Research Corp. said in each of the three Florida federal court suits that the companies are producing computer monitors and other display devices and associated products that infringe the university's patent.
