Google Seeks $4M In Trial Costs From Oracle After IP Win

Law360, New York (July 06, 2012, 9:47 PM ET) -- Google Inc. sought more than $4 million from Oracle Corp. on Thursday to cover trial costs following the end of a California jury trial over Oracle's claim that Google's Android platform infringes two of its mobile device patents.

Google, which earned a final judgment in its favor in June after the trial largely wrapped up in May, sought more than $3 million in fees for making copies and transcripts and almost $987,000 to compensate a court-appointed damages expert.
