Fed. Circ. Gives Nestle A Treat, Backing Beggin' Strips IP

Law360, Los Angeles (July 09, 2012, 2:43 PM ET) -- The U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board didn't err when it found that Midwestern Pet Foods Inc.'s proposed Waggin' Strips dog treats had a brand name confusingly similar to Nestle SA's Beggin' Strips bacon-flavored treats, the Federal Circuit ruled Monday.
