ITC Floats Revised Rules For IP Probes

Law360, New York (July 12, 2012, 8:37 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission said Thursday it is proposing amendments to its rules covering intellectual property rights investigations so it can increase the effective operation of its probes.

These changes, which affect investigations under Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, are designed to make technical corrections, clarify certain details, sync various parts of the ITC’s rules and address concerns that have come up in day-to-day ITC practice, according to a notice posted in the Federal Register.
