Goldman Programmer Busted Again, This Time By NY State

Law360, New York (August 09, 2012, 5:36 PM ET) -- A former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. programmer who beat a federal case alleging that he stole the firm's computer code was arrested again and arraigned Thursday on nearly identical state charges.

Defendant Sergey Aleynikov appeared in a Manhattan criminal court in handcuffs, facing charges that he violated two New York felony statutes by copying Goldman code for use at a new job. His conviction on similar federal charges was overturned by an appeals court in February after he had served nearly one year in prison....
