Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 5:53 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Friday tossed competing investigations brought by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and Osram GmbH over light-emitting diode technology, after the companies said they had put an end to their global patent war.
Administrative Law Judge Robert K. Rogers Jr. granted a joint motion by Samsung and Siemens AG-owned Osram seeking to terminate the investigations lodged against each other, saying the companies had reached a settlement.
