Law360, New York (August 20, 2012, 1:22 PM ET) -- A New York state judge on Monday sent PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and intellectual property law firm Fross Zelnick Lehrman & Zissu PC to arbitration over allegations that PwC understated the law firm’s pension plan liabilities by $1.2 million.
Judge Charles E. Ramos ruled during a hearing in his downtown Manhattan courtroom that the dispute over the understatement, which the law firm said led to a costly decision to terminate the plan, must be arbitrated because of the language in Fross Zelnick's engagement agreement with the accounting firm....
