Apple Loses Bid To Add To $1B Samsung Patent Verdict

Law360, New York (January 30, 2013, 3:54 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday overturned a jury's ruling that Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.'s infringement of Apple Inc. smartphone patents was willful and rejected Apple's request to raise the jury's $1.05 billion damages award by $535 million.
