Law360, New York (February 27, 2013, 6:03 PM ET) -- A Texas patent holding company sued Apple Inc., LG Electronics Inc. and AT&T Inc. on Monday for alleged infringement of four patents that cover cellphone and tablet technologies.
In one of two suits filed in the Eastern District of Texas, SmartPhone Technologies LLC of Plano, Texas, accuses AT&T and Apple of four counts of patent infringement. In a separate action, SmartPhone Technologies made two infringement claims against cellphone and tablet manufacturer LG.
