Law360, New York (December 19, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has decided not to disqualify O'Melveny & Myers LLP from a lawsuit in which it is defending MySpace Inc. from allegations that it infringed on Universal Music Group's copyrights.
In an opinion handed down earlier this month, Judge A. Howard Matz of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California ruled that O'Melveny & Myers had transgressed its duties to UMG, which it had represented in an earlier suit against Napster Inc.
