Law360, New York (November 09, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- The world’s largest generic drug maker will head to court again to defend itself against allegations of patent infringement in yet another campaign to produce a generic version of AstraZeneca's best-selling drug.
AstraZeneca has sued Israeli drug maker Teva Pharmaceuticals in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, alleging that Teva’s attempts to market a generic version of popular antipsychotic drug Seroquel amount to infringement of AstraZeneca’s patents for the drug, which are set to expire in 2011.
