Human Genome Hits Genentech With Patent Suit

Law360, New York (March 27, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A patent dispute between two biotechnology companies over a type of protein that can be used to detect tumors has landed in federal court, after Human Genome Sciences appealed the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's decision in an interference proceeding.
