Papst Sues Nikon Over Digital Camera Patents

Law360, New York (May 06, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- German-based licensing company Papst Licensing GmbH & Co. KG socked Nikon Corp. with a lawsuit Friday, accusing the optics and imaging giant of infringing two patents related to digital cameras.

The complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, alleges Nikon and its two American subsidiaries violate two patents Papst owns by assignment, dealing with interface devices in digital camera technologies.
