Law360, New York (May 19, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A Florida hotel complex built by Donald Trump's company and other developers does not infringe an architect's copyrights, an appeals court ruled Wednesday, upholding a district court's grant of summary judgment to the developers.
Judge Charles Wilson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit said that although appellant architect Paul Oravec's designs shared some features with the designs for the Trump Grande Ocean Resort and Residences, they also had significant differences.
Oravec originally filed the lawsuit in a Florida district court in 2004....
