Law360, New York (May 25, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- After a favorable appeal, Louis Vuitton has suffered another defeat in district court in its long-standing case against retail chain Burlington Court Factory over a line of women's handbags alleged to be “confusingly similar” to the French fashion house’s signature design.
Earlier this week, a federal trial court rejected Vuitton’s motion for a preliminary injunction that would have prohibited Burlington Coat Factory from selling the beaded accessories.
