AT&T Sues Over Navigation System Patents

Law360, New York (September 22, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- AT&T Intellectual Property I LP has accused wireless communications solutions provider Airbiquity Inc. of infringing several patents related to portable navigation systems used in vehicles.

AT&T Intellectual Property and AT&T Mobility II LLC filed the suit on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, naming Airbiquity as the sole defendant. AT&T Inc. is the indirect parent of both plaintiffs, according to court papers.
