Law360, New York (November 20, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal jury has awarded Mass Engineered Design Inc. $3 million in an infringement case against Dell Inc., Ergotron Inc., CDW Corp. and Tech Data Corp. over a patent for multiscreen display units, the plaintiff's attorneys said.
A jury in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Wednesday unanimously found the defendants liable for infringement, ordering Ergotron to pay $1.5 million in damages and each of the remaining defendants to pay $500,000, attorney Max Tribble of Susman Godfrey LLP said.
