Law360, New York (February 26, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has signed off on a stipulation dropping one patent Taiwan-based AU Optronics Corp. asserted against LG Display Co. Ltd. in a wide-ranging patent battle LG is waging against several electronics companies over a myriad of patents covering liquid crystal display technology.
