Allergan Sues Sandoz Over Glaucoma Drug ANDA

Law360, New York (April 07, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Allergan Inc. has sued Novartis AG subsidiary Sandoz Inc. for patent infringement in response to the the generics maker's effort to market its own version of glaucoma treatment Combigan.

The drugmaker filed the suit Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas after Sandoz filed an abbreviated new drug application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in February to market a generic version of Combigan.
