NJ Bar Head Wants Attys To Fight For Judicial Independence

Law360, New York (October 03, 2013, 6:42 PM ET) -- With New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie declining to renominate Supreme Court justices and lawmakers sitting on two of his nominees, judicial independence is the most serious issue facing Garden State attorneys in decades, according to the head of the state bar, which is forming a task force to recommend new protections against politics infiltrating the bench.
