Law360, New York (June 20, 2011, 6:57 PM ET) -- Pfizer Inc. unit Wyeth LLC on Monday resolved its New York patent infringement lawsuit against Intellipharmaceutics International Inc. over the company’s bid to market a generic version of Wyeth's blockbuster depression and anxiety drug Effexor XR.
U.S. District Judge Laura Taylor Swain signed off on a stipulation of dismissal and a consent judgment disposing of all claims and counterclaims in the suit Wyeth launched in response to Intellipharmaceutics filing for regulatory approval to produce its own version of Effexor.
