Google To Pick Up Mobile Ad Startup For $750M

Law360, New York (November 09, 2009, 5:50 PM ET) -- Google Inc. has announced plans to pick up mobile display advertising technology provider AdMob for $750 million in stock, in an effort to expand and build out its mobile ad delivery platform.

AdMob — a startup mobile advertising marketplace founded by mobile Web entrepreneur Omar Hamoui in 2006 that allows companies to target, reach and monetize customers online — and Google have both signed off on the all-stock deal, which is still pending regulatory approval.
